How It Works The High Lifter^™ Reverse Override Kit will allow you to apply full power while reversing in your Polaris© UTV. If you are stuck in a deep mud hole or on a steep incline and the best way out is backwards, you need full power for the best results. This kit provides you with the backing power you need, on demand. With our momentary switch, you can override the Polaris^© feature only while the switch is depressed. Once released, the switch defaults back to the factory settings. While the switch is depressed, the gear selection display will change from R to H. After releasing the switch, the display will return to R. This gives the driver complete control over when and how the reverse override is used. Easy Installation The High Lifter^™ Reverse Override Kit is completely plug and play and easy to install. There is no need to cut or splice any existing factory wires. Our wire harness has been designed to simply plug into the existing factory hardware. The kit comes with a fully illustrated, easy to follow set of instructions. The included switch is illuminated to be easily seen and labeled to avoid confusion as to its purpose. The switch is easily installed into the expansion locations included from the factory on most UTV models. The switches we use are certified to IP66/68. These V-Series contura switches offer protection against dust, prolonged spray and water submersion under pressure and are recognized to the UL1500 - Ignition Protection rating for marine products. These switches are vibration, shock, thermoshock, moisture and salt spray resistant with an operating temperature range from -40^°C to 85^°C.
